Graphics for screen backgrounds  

(8.5Mb)  This is an optional item for any edition of Publishers' Assistant.  These backgrounds depict scenes from life in Vermont.  The download is a self-extracting EXE file.  Run it after you've installed PubAssist.  It will default to the graphics folder where PubAssist expects these files to be.  (i.e. c:\program files\pubassist\graphics).  If you've installed to a different location, simply point WinZip to the appropriate graphics sub-folder for your installed location.

Invoice Reports without Credit Card Numbers

Several users have asked us about suppressing the credit card numbers in the payment information section of the invoice reports.  For Lyric and Epic users, this is a fairly easy change to make, though many of our users choose not to venture into it.  If you'd like to know how to make this change yourself, click here.  Sonnet users, of course don't have this option.  

So, here are the invoice report forms which suppress the credit card number.  Simply download this procedure and run it.  Like most of our downloads, this is a self-extracting EXE file.  The contents should be extracted to your PubAssist folder.  That's it!  Try it out on an invoice that has been paid with a credit card.

Export Credit Card Charges report 

Export your credit card receipts to ICVerify or PC Authorize with the use of this report!  This report was included in PubAssist V4.2b.  If you've installed V4.2b or higher, you need not install this report.

  1. Run this self-extracting EXE.  Contents should be extracted to your Pubassist folder.  
  2. Next, run the program, UPDT_RPT.EXE, to update your report definitions.  Epic Edition users will need exclusive access to your database in order to update the report definition.  
  3. Look at the article entitled "Exporting Credit Card Charges" (on the Help and Support Articles page) for details on how to export data to ICVerify or PC Authorize using this report.
